Not a member of a hunting club? No worries - we've got you covered. No need to spend upwards of several thousands of dollars per season and working weekends cutting brush, thorns and contracting poison ivy all over you as part of your dues and member requirements of many hunting clubs. We take all the work (and guess work), frustration and high cost out of hunting opportunities; which when you stop and think about it, hunting should be simple, relaxing (sometimes adrenaline pumping) and a fun experience, not stressful work or so expensive you have to take out a loan to pay for it.
So you're thinking of hunting on public game lands? Seriously! Good luck with that. Along with having no real idea of the land/terrain, no clue of deer populations, animal movement/migration areas or patterns, feeding areas, not being able to plant food plots or even use attractants like acorn rage, always having to compete with large crowds of other hunters fighting for a tree to sit in/set up in and so on.... Been there, done that - not fun or productive.
Let's look at it realistically - In the sport of hunting, there are no guarantees of success when it comes to harvesting any animal, Deer are prey animals, they are smart, and they usually know you are there before you even see them, they can smell you, hear you and they can pick up with their eyes any movement better than you can. When hunting, there will be days when you will not see any deer and there can be days when you can see the largest buck of a lifetime. When you put the cards in your favor your chances go up, dramatically. We at Twisted Creek Outfitters have put up tripods, tree stands and blinds in strategic spots and have a corn feeder running year round to attract deer to certain areas. The deer herds get use to our feeding areas and visit them daily. We observe and understand our deer herds and movements and we understand and live hunting as part of our lives.
About our property, we are perfectly located where there are high numbers of deer and other game species populations, plus we are surrounded by thousands of acres of wood land, farm land and wet lands that are perfect habitat for attracting and holding large deer and other game species. We believe the way we manage our property offers our guest a productive, rewarding and exciting experience.
If you are looking for a better than you expected hunting and outdoor experience, you should give us a try. We welcome any questions that you may have; please feel free to contact us.
